Embarrassing moment for major media organization.

In a very rare case of a hockey player fighting back, one major media organization has found itself with egg on it's face.

This week TSN published an image of former Ottawa Senators defenseman Marc Methot, and on that image were the following words:

I don't want to go anywhere, I didn't ask for this.

Marc Methot on being traded to the Stars.

That would clearly lead someone to believe that Methot was not happy about being shipped off to Dallas after being picked up in the expansion draft by the Las Vegas Golden Knights, however that may not be the case.

Methot has since used social media to respond and ,while he was as friendly as he could be, he completely refuted the authenticity of that report from TSN. Here's what he had to say about it.

"LoL. Not quite a fair representation of anything I feel or have said. Don't usually acknowledge this stuff but c'mon? Haha"

You can't blame the guy for being frustrated, if TSN paints him as a guy who doesn't want to play for Dallas, it would likely impact how the players in that room welcome him. It's easy to imagine how frustrating that would be, especially if as Methot claims it's entirely untrue.
