What’s your call on this one? Is he out of line with his comments? Or is he just calling it like he sees it?

Following Saturday night’s heinous terrorst attacks in the city of Edmonton, there an outpouring of support from NHL players and teams across social media. Edmonton Oilers legend Ryan Smyth was the first to break the ice, stating:

One current NHLer though, Arizona Coyotes forward Max Domi, had a different take on the events. Calling out Canada’s immigration policy in his comments.

Check it out:

Safe to say that Domi isn’t a fan of Canada’s open door policies on immigration. To be fair to Domi, he defended his statement with a follow-up in response to fans calling him insensitive and racist.

What do you think? Is Domi out of line with his comments? To be fair, the suspect in the Edmonton attacks was on the RCMP’s watch list since 2015. Domi is only stating that immigration take a closer look at dangerous individuals, not ALL individuals before allowing them into Canada.
