NHLPA and NHL said yes, officials said ''No way''.

Antoine Vermette's suspension is still a hot topic apparently. The dramatic saga is still red hot and could be worthy of a TV show on HBO. 

For those who don't remember, on Valentine's day, Antoine slashed an official out of frustration about his puck dropping technique. The suspension was originally set for 10 games and negotiations followed. The Players Association and the NHL had reached an agreement to reduce Vermette's suspension to 5 games. 

There's a new twist in the story today. 

The Officials association said NO to the reduction of the suspension, claiming it was a security concern for its members. One can't argue too long when speaking about security. 

There are still ways to appeal this appeal of the appeal, but to be honest it's getting complicated. Let's see what's going to happen!
