Nylander out 4 to 6 months after brutal knee injury

A tough break for the promising young player.


This just in, the Chicago Blackhawks have announced that forward Alex Nylander has undergone surgery for a meniscus tear and will be out of the team's lineup for the next four to six months.

Nylander sustained the injury during the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs and attempted to rehabilitate during the offseason, but the decision was made to correct the issue with surgery after Nylander experienced symptoms after resuming skating. Here's hoping this kid can fully heal up and fulfill his potential.
