Octopuses rain down after one year drought ends for Sheahan!

Tonight was a special night for the Red Wings fans, as the Joe Louis Arena lived its last hockey game. The Wings were facing the Devils and since both teams are out of the playoffs, it was a genuinely ''feel good'' game.

However, one guy closed the year on a very positive note by finally scoring a goal! Riley Sheahan's last goal came EXACTLY one year ago, on April 9th, 2016.

You can see how happy he was to finally put one in! Of courses, octopuses were raining down following the goal.

As a funny coincidence, his goal will be the last one ever scored at the Joe. These stories simply write themselves!
