OHL player helped off after huge cheap shot during playoffs last night.

During the Ontario Hockey League's playoffs last night defenseman Nicholas Hague of the Mississauga Steelheads delivered an ugly looking cheap shot.

Both Hague and Ottawa 67's forward Travis Barron were down on the ice when Hague delivered a blow to the head of Barron. While it's impossible to truly gauge a player's intent in a moment like this, it would be hard to argue that Hague wasn't trying to hurt Barron here.

Barron was in fact hurt, and after spending several long moments down on the ice he was eventually helped off by his teammates, although he appeared to still be in considerable discomfort.

No word yet on what will come of this for Hague.
