One thing’s for sure, Edmonton Oilers fans are ready for a change. After another failed season for the team in which Connor McDavid earned a Hart Trophy nomination as the league’s MVP, Oilers fans are growing tired of waiting for the team’s management to sort things out. McDavid’s prime years are being wasted due to an inept management group. Make a change and get the right people in charge. That’s what Oilers fans want.

They may still get it as Oilers CEO Bob Nicholson is reportedly set to name a new GM any day now, but the change that the team HAS confirmed is that they’ll have a new third jersey for 2019-20. The news that Oilers fans want? Probably not… but at this point any change is for the better.

A report from Oilers Nation contributor and TSN 1260 producer Tyler Yaremchuk points to a new uniform next season that eschews white from the team’s colour palette, going instead with a navy blue and orange pattern.
