Oilers prospect gets rewarded for his outstanding play!
Keystone Press

Edmonton Oilers prospect Stuart Skinner had an outstanding week with his new team in the WHL! In the first two games he played with the Swift Current Broncos, after being traded from the Lethbridge Hurricanes, the 19-year old goaltender stayed undefeated, registering two wins (one by shutout) and kept a 0.50 goal-against average and a .980 save percentage. His performances earned him the Vaughn Hockey CHL Goaltender of the week Award!

Drafted 78th overall by the Oilers in 2017, Skinner had a record of 14-15-0 with a 3.38 goal-against average and a .897 save percentage. Let's hope he will keep on putting numbers like that until the end of the season! Oilers management team must be really happy to see the kind of numbers he has with his new team! The Swift Current Broncos are currently second in the East division of the WHL with a record of 31-10-3.
