Oilers sign depth forward to two-years deal.

The UFA market opened on Saturday and we got a lot of action since then with huge contracts. However, teams are also hiring player to enhance the depth of their roster and the Oilers did such move today with Brad Malone. 

The 28 years old is 6'2'', 207lbs of grittiness and intensity. Although his career has not been going in the right direction in the last two years, he still has 176 career NHL games in which he scored 30 points. 

This move will give some options to the Oilers, especially for their AHL team in Bakersfield.
