It's still not clear what happened or what the injury is, but we do know it sounds serious.

Los Angeles Kings goaltender and multiple time Stanley Cup Champion Jonathan Quick appears to have suffered a significant injury and it sounds like he will miss a decent chunk of time based on the comments from his team.

According to Los Angeles Kings insider Jon Rosen he has been informed by Kings general manager Dean Lombardi himself that this injury could keep Jonathan Quick out of the line up for what “could be a while.”

Now that's far from a definitive timeline, but quick has an MRI scheduled today and we should know more once those results come in, but if Lombardi is saying it's bad, you can bet the news won't be good whatever the result is.

Here is the moment when Quick is believed to have suffered the injury.
