The Vegas Golden Knights and their fans at a blast last night at the T-Mobile Arena. Malcolm Subban stopped 20 shots for his first NHL shutout, William Karlsson and Reilly Smith each scored twice, and the Knights beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-0 on Thursday night.

However, one Golden Knights player did not have a good time. Max Pacioretty, who was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens earlier during the preseason, ended with just four minutes and 32 seconds of ice-time as he mysteriously left the game during the first period of the contest and never returned.

Strangely enough, it was reported by many team insiders that Pacioretty not only left the game, but also packed up and left the arena before the final buzzer.

While head coach Gerard Gallant did not have an update on his forward after the contest, he did say more could be revealed on Friday.

David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review Journal reports it could be a right leg injury. Pacioretty reportedly headed straight to the dressing room after clipping Winnipeg’s Jacob Trouba with his right knee late in the first period.

The Knights are in action again on Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings so we should know more about it before then.
