Less than an year about being acquired by the Vegas Golden Knights in a blockbuster trade with the Montreal Canadiens, it seems like Max Pacioretty could be on the move again this summer.

According to insider Chris Johnston, the Golden Knights are considering moving the forward as he explained on the air of Sportsnet 960.

“"I think Vegas is a team that nobody really talks about right now for some reason…The Golden Knights are over the ceiling right now, "Johnston explained on Sportsnet 960 radio.
"I see them make a big move out of nowhere. [...] If you want my bold prediction - and this is somewhat of a prediction based on the information I got - it is that I would not be surprised if Pacioretty or Paul Stastny changed address in the next days to free up space under the cap, "he said.

The Golden Knights are indeed the only team at the moment who is above the projected cap for next year. They have notable free agents to re-sign in William Karlsson, Nikita Gusev, Deryk Engelland and Malcolm Subban.

A bold move - like the one predicted by Johnston - could be the only way to make it work for next season.

New appointed GM Kelly McCrimmon has an extra 2020 second-round pick and two extra 2019 third-rounders he can use as currency in a salary-dump deal.

Let see if he makes it happen or pulls the trigger on a blockbuster deal!
