Pastrnak emulates teammate Marchand to troll the Leafs?!

Brad Marchand was quickly accused of trolling the Toronto Maple Leafs when he replied to a tweet from the NHL’s PR team earlier this month that announced that Mitch Marner had become the eighth player in franchise history to hit the 80 point mark in 66 or fewer games. This prompted Marchand to reply with his prediction for Marner’s next deal:

Leafs GM Kyle Dubas said that the tweet “was a master troll job” by Marchand and let’s just say it would be expected of the Boston Bruins pest. 

However on Friday, it seems like Marchand might have inspired teammate David Pastrnak to troll the Leafs himself. 

Bardown posted a video of backup goalie Garrett Sparks making an incredible must-see stick save on one of his own teammates during practice today. 

Pastrnak had this to say about it: Tuukka Rask makes those saves every day, he posted, tagging his star goalie. 

What is that all about? Did Pastrnak throw shade or troll the Leafs with this response?

All we know is that Pastrnak seemed to be looking for trouble on social media Friday. He also teased Marchand with another tweet, so who knows…
