Pastrnak saga: Bruins are putting themselves at risk!
Keystone Press

The David Pastrnak trade speculations have flared out for the past few weeks and have grown more intense since the Boston Bruins management and the winger's representatives have yet to come to an agreement.

And not only the Bruins fans are growing concerned: some local experts are too. Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com acknowledged the possibility the Bruins are putting themselves at risk of Pastrnak signing an offer sheet with a rival team.

Haggerty tried to calm that possibility down, noting that we rarely see such a strategy being employed in the National Hockey League. Fans May be comforted by the fact that of the Bruins were scared of Pastrnak getting an offer sheet, the forward would have been re-signed by now already.

The fear of an offer sheet hasn’t obviously made the Bruins as fearful with Pastrnak as it did with Dougie Hamilton, remember?

We shall see what happens next...
