Pastrnak suddenly missing from Bruins’ practice and cancels all media meetings!

It was an exciting day on Wednesday for the Boston Bruins when star forward David Pastrnak practiced with the Boston Bruins for the first time in training camp, skating with a small group of teammates at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston on Wednesday. Pasta returned to Czech Republic after the NHL season was paused March 12 due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus and finally came back to Boston after missing the first two practices of training camp.

While he did not meet with media members on Wednesday, Pastrnak found a way to comment on his return to action thanks to social media before his schedule meeting with reporters on Thursday. The 24-year-old posted two hilarious tweets on his return and enthusiasm for play to resume, using two GIFS of he and teammate Brad Marchand to reveal how excited he is to be back and what fans should expect from him in a month, when the Bruins find out who their first opponent of the postseason is for the first round.

However, things got very worrisome for the Bruins Thursday morning when Pasta was not back on the ice for the day’s practice. To make matters worse, the Bruins announced that Pastrnak will not Zoom with reporters as scheduled.

On top of that, head coach Bruce Cassidy appear to get rumours going even more when he mentioned he may have more clarity when he talks at 11 a.m., but that’s what we know now.

Today is an important practice in Boston as the players are holding a scrimmage in preparation for games.

Pasta was not the only important player missing from the Bruins’ practice. Goalie Tuukka Rask left practice early, after 10 or 15 minutes on the ice, and while he pulled the same move on Tuesday, reporter Matt Porter revealed that’s not the case today and no one knows what’s going…

Pastrnak, who plays right wing on the Bruins’ top line with center Patrice Bergeron and Marchand, scored 48 goals this season to tie Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin for the NHL lead. Pastrnak scored 95 points, tied for third in the NHL with New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin , behind Edmonton Oilers forwards Leon Draisaitl (110) and Connor McDavid (97).

He and Rask are crucial to the Bruins’ success this postseason…
