In case you missed it last night, the Tampa Bay Lightning were crowned Stanley Cup champions after defeating the Dallas Stars in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. The drink was flowing behind the scenes as Steven Stamkos, Victor Hedman, Nikita Kucherov and the rest of the Lightning celebrated late into the evening. But there's one member of the Lightning who had a little more to celebrate than the others and that's back to back Stanley Cup champion Pat Maroon.

Maroon, of course, won the Stanley Cup with his hometown St. Louis Blues last season and is now a two time Stanley Cup champion after last night's victory. In fact, Maroon is the first NHL player to win back to back Stanley Cup championships with two different teams since Claude Lemieux did it in 1995 and 1996 with the New Jersey Devils and Colorado Avalanche. So... how does he celebrate? Just like you'd imagine, with a drink in his hand and a stogie in his mouth.

Check out this Tweet / Instagram post that Maroon put out while celebrating his win last night:

How can you not love this man? Well... I guess if you're a Stars fan you're not exactly enamored with him. I mean... not only did Maroon and the Lightning break their hearts this season, but don't forget it was Maroon who defeated the Stars in double overtime of Game 7 in the second round last post-season to eliminate the Stars. In other words, this guy is a Stars killer. But... for a moment... put that side... how can you not love this guy?

Fans in Tampa, St. Louis, Edmonton and Anaheim already know just how special of a guy Pat Maroon is but I get the sense that fans all over the NHL are beginning to figure it out now. I'll say it again... how can you not love this guy?

Here's hoping that the league finds out a way to let these guys celebrate with their friends and family somehow, someway. I understand that the Stanley Cup won't be able to make its rounds like usual, but how great would a Stanley Cup party at Pat Maroon's house be?
