A huge individual achievement for the Blackhawks star.

Chicago Blackhawks star forward Patrick Kane had a very rough start to training camp, through no fault of his own, but he has bounced back and performed incredibly well this season despite that.

On Friday night during a road game in Winnipeg, with his Blackhawks taking on the Jets, Kane hit a new career milestone, when he recorded his 40th goal of the season, the first time he has hit the 40 goal plateau in his already illustrious career. Kane didn't need anything fancy to record this one, instead relying on a picture perfect shot from the top of the face-off circle to beat Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec.

It was a big goal as well, with Kane breaking a 2-2 tie in the closing minutes of the second period to give the Blackhawks the lead.
