Patrick Roy took everyone by surprise when he decided to quit his job as head coach and vice president of hockey operations with the Colorado Avalanche, back in August 2016. But now the former netminder mentioned that he considers making a return in the NHL... in a slightly different role.

In an interview with TVA Sports, Roy said he doesn't rule out returning as a coach, but would rather have a role in the administration of an NHL franchise:

"If I get calls from teams, I will obviously listen. My door is always opened. However, I realized that I would rather have a role in the administration of a team. It isn't because I don't want to coach anymore, but the administrative side of the business is what excites me the most."

With the recent struggles of the Montreal Canadiens, a bunch of fans would love to see Roy back with the Habs. Do you think Geoff Molson should try to bring him back to Montreal?
