Winnipeg Jets superstar Patrick Laine hasn’t exactly made a secret of his video game obsession. The prominent Fortnite player has spoken several times on his fondness for the game and for playing video games to help him relax and decompress from his hectic schedule but… one hockey fan on Twitter may have unearthed just how obsessed Laine actually is.

Check this out…

A Vancouver Canucks fan known simply as RD on Twitter did a bit of investigating and discovered that Laine played a staggering 14 hours of Fortnite this past Saturday…

That’s a bit much, buddy… but surely this was on an off day, right? Nope.

Okay… that’s a problem. Especially when you consider that the sniper has just four goals and 10 points in his past 26 games. Not good enough… not even CLOSE to good enough.

You may recall that Laine chirped the Canucks just prior to the start of the season for the team’s self-imposed video game ban on the road. Laine fired a shot at the team saying that the woeful Canucks, “need something to blame” for their losing record. That statement isn’t looking so hot given Laine’s struggles this season…
