On Tuesday, the Penguins hosted the New York Islanders. The Isles prevailed by a score of 5-4 in overtime to earn two points in a match where the Penguins fought tooth and nail for the win. Despite the disappointing, the Pens have the opportunity to get revenge on the Islanders this evening as they play a the second game of the home-and-home series tonight in Brooklyn.

Still deprived of the services of Sidney Crosby, the Penguins will rely on Evgeni Malkin to pivot the first line. They will also count on the return of veteran Patric Hornqvist who will play alongside Alex Galchenyuk and Joe Blandisi on the third offensive line.

Despite Hornqvist's return, Pittsburgh's injury reserve list is not getting any shorter. D-man Justin Schultz will be sidelined tonight as Chad Ruhwedel steps in to the right of Marcus Pettersson to complete the second offensive line.

Matt Murray will have the opportunity for retribution as he starts in front of the net tonight after losing on Tuesday.

Here is the Penguins' projected lineup for tonight's rematch against the Islanders according to NHL.com Deputy Managing Editor, Brian Compton:

Forwards:

Jake Guentzel - Evgeni Malkin - Bryan Rust

Dominik Kahun - Jared McCann - Brandon Tanev

Alex Galchenyuk - Joseph Blandisi - Patric Hornqvist

Zach Aston-Reese - Teddy Blueger - Dominik Simon

Goaltenders:

Sam Lafferty and Zach Trotman are set to be healthy scratches this evening. Sidney Crosby, Nick Bjugstad, Kris Letang and Justin Schultz crowd the star-studded Pittsburgh injury reserve.

As both teams get set for to second match of the interdivisional home-and-home, one will look for a second win in three days, while the other will be seeking revenge. It should be a good one!
