Penguins name replacement for Kris Letang this evening.

Hardly a suitable replacement.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are forced to scramble and find a replacement for defenseman Kris Letang, and frankly at this time of year that's an impossibility.

Letang will be sitting out Game 4 as a result of the one game suspension he received for his hit on Capitals forward Marcus Johansson, who according to earlier reports will be in the line up for Washington this evening, and the Penguins bench boss knows he can't hope to replace Letang in the line up.

"I don't think anybody's going to try to become Kris Letang because we don't have him tonight," said head coach Mike Sullivan.“We’re just going to be ourselves. We’re going to play our game. We’re going to try to play to our strengths and we’ll see where it goes.”

With that said it will be Justin Schultz who steps in to the line up for the suspended Letang, it will be the first time he says play since Game 1 of the first round series against the Rangers. With all due respect to Schultz, he is a massive downgrade for the Penguins, and it remains to be seen how the long layoff will impact him when he plays this evening.
