In just a few weeks, the National Hockey League is expected to kick off the last phase of its return to play plan and present its playoff tournament.

Before the actual start of the postseason, 16 teams will have to compete in a best-of-5 series which will allow the eight winning teams to join eight other teams that already clinched a spot.

That’s why the Montreal Canadiens will face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and are doing their best to get as ready as possible to battle the top team in their quest for the Stanley Cup.

However, the Penguins have been training for the past week and more, led by captain Sidney Crosby, who we are sure is already coaching them to come out on top of the Habs.

Speaking of the Canadiens,  only 5 players have so far have showed up at the Bell Complex in Brossard: forwards Jonathan Drouin, Paul Byron, Laurent Dauphin, Charles Hudon and goalie Michael McNiven, while the star players have yet to return to Montreal for Phase 2.

On Tuesday, the Penguins decided to get the Canadiens on track by sending them a clear message, showing how they were already in playoff mode, ready to take on the Habs :

We can feel that the playoff tournament is getting closer. Teams are bringing the heat!
