The Penguins and Jets engaged in what many have called the most violent game of the 2016-2017 National Hockey League season in mid February, and now they stage is set for the rematch.

While many fully expected this to be a grudge match, the Penguins have now fired the first shot across the bow and in the process have let the Jets know that they are in for what should be a physical and bloody rematch.

The Penguins have dressed veteran enforcer Tom Sestito, a man who frankly serves one single purpose in their organization, and it's to deal with situations exactly like this one. When asked why he thought he was being brought into the line up, Sestito gave a rather comical answer.

"Uh, I thought it was for my goal-scoring, probably," said Sestito as per Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun.

Jets tough guy Chris Thorburn says he's ready to answer the challenge.

"It catches your attention a little bit. I’d probably be the only one to address that."

Prepare for fireworks this evening ladies and gentlemen.
