Pens reveal good news concerning Hornqvist
Keystone Press

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist started the 2017-18 season on injured reserve due to a hand injury, but things seem to be looking up.

Pens GM Jim Rutherford has revealed that the forward will be back soon, which is good news for the club who has been struggling right off the bat.

Once cleared to return, Hornqvist will likely begin the year on the third line as coach Mike Sullivan seems set on keeping Conor Sheary on the top line with Sidney Crosby

Despite his even-strength role, Hornqvist will almost certainly return to the No. 1 power-play unit once cleared.
