The Boston Bruins have had a great run of success over the past few seasons and although that has been tremendous for both the organization and the players on the team's main roster, it has also led to some frustration for some of the organizations once promising prospects. One such example of a frustrated player is Bruins forward Peter Cehlarik and it now seems like his frustration may have finally reached a boiling point.

The native of Slovakia recently conducted an interview in his native language and during that interview he made some pretty blunt comments about his time with the Bruins and comments regarding what the future may hold for him now moving forward. Cehlarik made it clear that he has become frustrated with the fact that he has not become a regular in the National Hockey League, a product of the Bruins having so many solid forwards in their ranks at the moment, and given that he has only had 40 NHL games throughout his entire career thus far at 24 years old you can see where the young man's frustrations are coming from.

Cehlarik was selected in the 2rd round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and joined the Bruins organization during the 2016 - 2017 NHL regular season, spending the majority of his time in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins. Since then Cehlarik has only been given brief glimpses at the NHL level, appearing in 40 total games and recording 5 goals and 6 assists for a combined 11 points and a plus minus rating of +4 spanning across several seasons. So it is not like Cehlarik has played poorly or even been any kind of liability at the NHL level, it really is simply a case of the Bruins having so much depth up front in their lineup.

Cehlarik admitted during the interview that he has considered walking away from the Bruins organization to either play in Sweden or to join the ranks of the NHL's biggest competitor in the Kontinental Hockey League. There he would join one of the league's elite teams in the form of SKA St. Petersburg as that team currently holds his rights in that league.

There is some hope however that he could find a home somewhere else in the NHL as Cehlarik stated during the interview that he was nearly part of a deal at the trade deadline, which could mean the Bruins are looking to find the frustrated forward a new home in the NHL.
