Phaneuf celebrates the anniversary of his trade with a goal and a fight against Jamie Benn!

On the one year anniversary of his trade from the Toronto Maple Leafs, former Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf appeared to be feeling pretty good.

Phaneuf came up big on Thursday night against a Dallas Stars team that was in desperate need of a couple of wins, contributing both his usual physical play as well as contributing on the score sheet.

After scoring the games opening goal Phaneuf found himself two-thirds of the way to a Gordie Howe hat trick when he dropped the gloves with Stars captain Jamie Benn of all people. 

It was a relatively uneventful fight with Been seemingly trying to hang on to avoid most of the damage.
