The man of the night certainly belonged to Sidney Crosby, but there was yet another huge storyline after the Pittsburgh Pnguins captured their fourth Stanley Cup title on Sunday.

Phil Kessel's moment of glory.

One of the more polarizing figures in the NHL as of late enjoyed a special moment no one can ever take away, hoisting the Stanley Cup in San Jose after the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Sharks in six games.

Kessel was essential to the Penguins' run, leading the team in scoring with 10 goals and 22 points in the tournament.

The Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-1 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday, clinching their fourth title in franchise history and second in the Sidney Crosby era.

Penguins' captain Sidney Crosby was awarded the Conn Smythe trophy as the Playoffs' most valuable player. Crosby finished in a tie for sixth in postseason scoring with the six goals and 13 assists, trailing Kessel, but his impact was felt far beyond the scoresheet.
