The NHL cancelled 3 games due to the snowstorm this weekend, but the AHL did not.
The Charlotte Checkers, the AHL affiliate team of the Carolina Hurricanes, played one of their game in an empty arena because of the snowstorm on Friday.
The empty arena was a very lonely scene to see. The team closed the door to the public because of the severe weather conditions.
The game looked like a Florida Panthers' game.
