Looks like Marc Bergevin was pretty clear.

Charlie Lindgren has just been phenomenal since the Montreal Canadiens have recalled him from the Rocket Laval. He has yet to lose a game in the NHL, and has saved his team more than once against both the Chicago Blackhawks and the Vegas Golden Knights

He clearly is very talented, and it is fair to believe a few NHL teams have made calls to Marc Bergevin about him.

In an interview with RDS yesterday, right before the Habs' game agaisnt Vegas, NHL insider Pierre LeBrun mentioned that some teams have told the Canadiens' general manager they were interested:

"It happened. According to my sources, the Habs have received phone calls at the beginning of the season, even before the start of the season when the Habs sent him to the Laval Rocket, in the AHL, because we know Al Montoya is #2 in Montreal. There are teams that wanted to know whether Lindgren was available or not, and the answer was "no"."

LeBrun also said that Lindgren is pretty attractive not only because he's good, but because of his contract:

"The answer was no because the Canadiens believe he has a bright future, but also because of technical reasons. Lindgren doesn't need to clear waivers to be sent back to Laval this year AND next year. So it is an ideal situation for the Habs to have a young and talented goaltender who we know we can trust."

In 5 games in the NHL, Lindgren has a record of 5-0-0, a goals against average of 1.39 and a save percentage of .955.
