Player needed to be taken off on a stretcher.
USA Today

The bad injuries just keep on piling up. Tonight another player suffered a potentially serious injury.

Brad Richardson of the Arizona Coyotes had to stretchered off the ice after trying to avoid a hit from Vancouver defenseman Nikita Tryamkin. Tryamkin fell awkwardly on Richardson's back with most of his weight landing on Richardson's left leg. Medical staff were working on his leg and decided it would be best to take him off of the ice by stretcher.

It has been a very bad few days for players getting injured in the NHL. Hopefully this streak doesn't continue. The Vancouver/Arizona game is still on going so there aren't many details regarding the extent of the injury but we will keep you posted when more details are made available.
