Ryan Johansen might not be one to hold a grudge, but the Columbus Blue Jackets might.

During Sunday night's action between the Nashville Predators and Blue Jackets, Preds' forward Ryan Johansen's return to his former stomping ground was not recognized at any point by his former team.

Johansen called out the Jackets' for their apparent lack of appreciation.

"I was a little disappointed they didn't put anything on the (video board) to say 'thank you' or anything like that," Johansen told reporters including Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch. "I think we all know who made that call, but whatever."

Johansen was playing his first game at Nationwide Arena since Jan. 5, 2016. He was traded by the Blue Jackets to the Predators for defenseman Seth Jones the very next day.

The young forward held out in the summer of 2014 before signing a three-year contract extension with the Blue Jackets at the start of the season. There was then an obvious tension between Johansen and Columbus general manager Jarmo Kekalainen, who placed him on the trading block for months before sending him to Nashville in the blockbuster deal.

There's obviously still some bad blood there.
