Players, backup goalies, and even the coaches clear the bench in huge brawl!

It's just division III German hockey but there was no doubt about the playoff atmosphere at Pferdeturm Hannover.

During a playoff game between two rival teams things got a little heated, and strangely enough it seemed to be the goaltenders who were pushing for a fight causing multiple other players to get involved.

As soon as a crowd began to form both benches quickly emptied resulting in a huge mass of bodies on the ice as the crowd roared and chanted in approval. The atmosphere is clearly conveyed in the video below and with that in mind it's not hard to imagine why tensions where high. 

All in all there wasn't a great deal of fighting except for a few fights breaking off from the main body of players, but it made for one hell of a scene nonetheless.
