Rasmus Andersson has been recalled on an emergency basis by the Flames for Saturday's game.

The 20 years old, 2015 second-rounder was playing for the Stockton Heat in the AHL before being recall by the big club. He's a solid two-ways defenseman who's not afraid to battle for the puck near the boards. Basically, he's tough to play against, mostly because of his 6', 210lbs frame. He's not know for his offensive skills, but he still scored 22 points in 50 games this season with the Heat. He's +14 on the plus/minus scale. Not bad for a first season in the AHL!

The Flames are on a 8 games winning streak, an awesome moment for a rookie to have a crack at the NHL level. He might play on Saturday against the Jets
