Pittsburgh Penguins second round pick in 2015, Daniel Sprong, is putting up some good numbers so far this season in the AHL. The 20-year old forward, drafted 46th overall two years ago, has scored nine goals and added five assists for 14 total points in 17 games played.

Sprong played 18 games in the NHL at the start of the 2015-2016 season, scoring only two goals before being sent down to his junior hockey club, the Charlottetown Islanders (QMJHL). The Amsterdam, Netherlands native had good numbers in the four seasons he played there, as he registered 312 points in 237 games played (regular season and playoffs included).

What do you think, Pens fans? Do you think he will earn a call up soon?
