Prospect watch : Petterson is doing pretty well!

Vancouver Canucks first round pick in 2017, Elias Pettersson, is doing pretty well in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) so far this season! The 19-year old forward, drafted fifth overall in June, is currently the second leading scorer in the best professional hockey league in Sweden, playing with and against older players than him. In 21 games so far this season, he scored 11 goals and added 17 assists in 21 games. 

In 89 games played in Sweden over three seasons, the Swedish forward scored 33 goals and added 45 assists for 78 total points.

He is looking good so far, and the Canucks management team are certainly happy about their decision to draft him so far.
