Keystone Press

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Ryan McGregor is showing some really good progress in his game so far this season! The 18-year old forward, drafted 172nd by the Leafs at the last NHL draft, has scored eight goals and added 12 assists for 20 total points in 31 games played so far with the Sarnia Sting (OHL), with a defensive differential of plus 15. His best offensive season before that was last year, when he registered 27 points in 65 games.

The most impressive upgrade is certainly is defensive game! He finished last season with a defensive differential of minus one, and is + 15 ratio after 31 games this year is certainly a sign that McGregor overall game will continue to improve.

The Burlington, Ontario native produced 74 points in 165 games (regular season and playoffs included) with the Sting so far in his junior hockey career.
