Radko Gudas responds to P.K. Subban's comments.

Earlier today Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban made some comments directed at Philadelphia Flyer Radko Gudas. Most notably Subban flat out stated he did not respect Gudas.

"I don’t think it’s anything that reflects on their team," he said. "They have guys that play the game hard and finish their checks, which you need to respect. But I don’t respect guys that do hits like that. You know what you’re doing in that situation, and I thought it was low."

When Gudas was asked to comment he simply pointed to a not so distant meeting between the two teams.

"and I'm really not interested," said Gudas as per Flyers insider Sam Carchidi. "I don't really pay attention to that. It's his thing and I'm going to let him do his thing. If he wants to do something, I'm going to be on the ice next time, so we'll see what happens. We play them in a couple weeks."

For some reason, Gudas was then asked if he and the Habs defenseman were friends.

"I can't say I am," he said with a smile.

The Canadiens and Flyers will meet again on February 19th.
