Rangers announce a big return to their line up.

The Rangers announced some very good news on Wednesday, their captain will be back in the line up effective immediately.

Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh has been out of the line up for some time, missing four games as a result of a concussion he suffered during a match up against the Philadelphia Flyers. McDonagh was punched by Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds, and although the blow did not look to be a devastating one, the length of Mcdonagh's absence suggest it was indeed a serious injury.

The Rangers will face off against the defending Stanley cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night and that will be McDonagh's first game back since the injury.
