Talk about sending a message.

Reaves drops the gloves, lays a beatdown, and then blows a kiss to the Stars bench.

He's certainly a controversial figure, but you can bet the St. Louis Blues are happy they have Ryan Reaves playing for them rather than against them.

On Tuesday night Reaves sent a clear message to the entire Dallas Stars locker room, and he did it in emphatic fashion, not only laying a beatdown on one of the Stars big men, but mocking the entire team immediately after doing so.

In a true display of "if you mess with one of us you mess with all of us" Reaves stepped in to the pocket to take care of business after Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo was the victim of a questionable hit from Dallas' Stephen Johns.

It wasn't Johns however who had to pay the price, instead Johns effectively sold out his teammate Curtis McKenzie who was clearly outmatched and easily dispatched by the much tougher and meaner Reaves, who then blew a kiss to the Dallas bench on his way out.
