After losing three straight games, the Detroit Red Wings are back in the win column, when they defeated the Buffalo Sabres this afternoon.

Despite Jack Eichel's two beautiful goals, the Red Wings can thank Petr Mrazek for his 32 save effort.

Riley Sheahan, Henrik Zetterberg, Brad Richard and Tomas Tatar were the goal scorer for the Wings. Tatar's goal came late in the third period, when he blasted an absolute rocket past Sabres' G Chad Johnson. Sheahan added an assist.

The Wings improved their record to 19-13-7 and moved in 3rd place in the Atlantic division, 1 point ahead of the Boston Bruins, but having played 2 more games.
