One of the more polarizing Red Wings players' among the fan base is scheduled to be a free agent this summer, but he says he's not interested in free agency he wants to remain a Red Wing.

Love him or hate him, there's no doubt that Kyle Quincey has been one of the more consistent blue liners for the Red Wings over the past two seasons, and now it appears that it is on general manager Ken Holland to decide whether or not Quincey will be back next season.

"If Kenny (general manager Holland) offers me something I'd love to come back," Quincey said as per Mlive.com. "We love it here. But if not, just see what happens."

It may not be entirely Holland's call however, there where signs of tensions between Quincey and head coach Jeff Blashill who even made Quincey a healthy scratch for one game in the first round of the playoffs, something Quincey admitted was clear from the very start.

"Going into the season I had a meeting with Blash right away and it wasn't what I really wanted to hear, but I feel like I changed his mind with my play and moved up in his eyes," Quincey said.

Should the Red Wings bring him back? Especially considering just how much it sounds like he wants to play in Detroit?
