Red Wings fans come up with incredible nickname for their new arena.

The Detroit Red Wings fan base wasn't exactly thrilled about leaving world famous Joe Louis Arena in the past and welcoming Little Caesars Arena into the future, the names don't really have the same ring to them after all.

However the Detroit fan base has found a way to make the best of a bad situation, and have in fact come up with a brilliant name for the new home of their beloved hockey team. As most of you will know, Joe Louis Arena was simply know as "The Joe" and in a hilarious play on words the fan base has combined that nickname with the new pizza-themed arena to create "The DoughJoe."

While this is by no means an official name, we do not speak for the entire Detroit Red Wings fan base after all, we think this one is not only clever enough, but catchy enough that it will be a name that likely sticks around for a very long time.
