The Detroit Red Wings got some tough news regarding two of their injured players on Tuesday.

First it was revealed via head coach Jeff Blashill that defenseman Niklas Kronwall will miss two to four weeks following a successful knee scope, but that was far from the worst news of the day.

Helen St. James of the Detroit Free Press is reporting that the injury to injured forward Drew Miller is far more severe than originally expected, and he will now miss a whopping four to six months following his knee surgery, ending his season, and making it unclear what condition he will be in come training camp for the 2016-2017 season.

There's no sugar coating this one, it's a bad news day for Detroit.
