The Detroit Red Wings will be moving on without at least two of their veteran players this season.

On Thursday Red Wings general manager Ken Holland confirmed that both forward Brad Richards and defenseman Kyle Quincey are highly unlikely to be back next season, and did so in very blunt fashion.

"Brad Richards and Kyle Quincey that I definitely won't sign them before July 1, if at all," said Ken Holland as per Helen St James of the Detroit Free Press.

According to St. James they may not be the only players on their way out either, Holland has reportedly reached out to at least two other players to see if the two sides can come to terms over the summer.

From St. James:

Among the other pending UFAs, Holland said he has talked a few times with forward Drew Miller, whose season ended with an injury in January, and wants to do the same with Darren Helm to see whether the sides see a fit going forward.

With changes already being made behind the bench, the Red Wings could look very different next season.
