A report yesterday indicated that the Red Wings management were scheduled to hold a meeting today to decide the organizations future at the goaltending position. The meeting was in fact held today and it consisted of at least Red Wings general manager Ken Holland, head coach Mike Babcock and Red Wings goaltending coach Jim Bedard. According to a report from Ansar Khan of Mlive the meeting was in fact held and the three men were unable to come to a decision. Holland made it clear that no decision has yet been made and by all accounts Mrazek will back up Howard tomorrow. Head coach Mike Babcock added that the Red Wings are moving forward with the intention of evaluating their goaltending situation on a day to day basis. What that means is Red Wing fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out of Gustavsson will be the back up for the post season, or if Mrazek as won the job.
