The Detroit Red Wings love to get involved with the community and on Wednesday afternoon, they managed to surprise more than 500 young students.
And they did it with life-changing gifts.
Danny DeKeyser and Luke Witkowski were back at Little Caesars Arena and surprised more than 500 second grade students with brand new bicycles, helmets, locks and bells.

The donation came as part of the 2019 Road & Bicycle Safety Program between the Detroit Red Wings and Chevrolet.
The kids and their families are so grateful.
It might be the offseason for the Red Wings but the players are busy at working, helping the community. We love it!
