According to a report from Detroit Red Wings insider Ansar Khan of M Live, the Red Wings are set to release a behind the scenes documentary series on the team’s historically bad 2019-20 season.

Check it out:

I mean… haven’t Red Wings fans been through enough? They’ve already been forced to sit through this wasted season, why force them to sit through it again?

That being said, there’s likely to be some juicy behind the scenes type stuff worth checking out.

From Khan:

The Detroit Red Wings have chronicled the 2019-20 season with a behind-the-scenes documentary. The Winged Wheel is a seven-part series that will debut today on “The Word on Woodward,” from 3-5 p.m. on  DetroitRedWings.com  as well as the team’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels.

Each episode is 7-10 minutes. The first begins with locker cleanout at the end of the 2018-19 season and picks up with Steve Yzerman’s introductory news conference as general manager.

The Red Wings finished the season at 17-49-5, the worst record in the NHL and the third-worst points percentage in franchise history (.275).

You tuning in, Wings fans?
