Ref costs a team a goal, then ejects a player for being unhappy about it.

If you are one of those fans who has found themselves very frustrated with the officiating in the National Hockey League at some point or another, you will probably empathise with Tampa Bay Lightning Victor Hedman on this one.

Hedman was obviously frustrated after the San Jose Sharks were gifted a goal by an NHL official when he prevented Hedman's attempt to clear the puck behind the net in his own zone. Hedman's clearing attempt struck the official, and the Sharks recovered the puck, which seconds later found itself in the back of the Lightning net.

Hedman then cleared the puck down the ice, in the general direction of the official, and apparently that was enough to get him ejected.
