Report: 20 Stitches For Warrior Veteran

In playing a very solid game last night against the Ottawa Senators, Detroit Red Wings’ defenseman is making headlines today for his warrior-like behavior.

 

After taking a puck to the face in yesterday’s matchup, Ericsson left the ice in order to be tended to by therapists.

20 stitches to fix the gash on his face.

He was in attendance for his team’s practice earlier today, and has no intention of wearing a visor in the future.
