NHL writer Josh Wegman from The Score has published on article that shines the light on a possible dark horse contender for next season's NHL rookie of the year award: Florida Panthers 2017 first round draft pick Owen Tippet. 

Wegman believes that Tippett has all the tools to make his NHL debut next season. Wegman highlights size, potential linemates and his elite goal scoring ability as factors that could lead to Tippet not only playing in the NHL next season but also be a contender for the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie.
